Israeli Startup Pops, which developed a mobile application for visual notifications on Android smartphones, secured $1.5 million in a first round of investment from Mangrove Capital Partners. Pops allows its users to personalize their phone alerts, including email, SMS, Facebook and Twitter notifications with animations and videos. Their product and service are patent pending in the US. This is the third time Mangrove Capital Partners invests in an Israeli company, after investments in SohoOS and Wix. View and share
