Nvidia's Israel division developed one of several powerful products revealed by the US semiconductor giant this week.

The operations expandion comes a year after Nvidia completed the $7 billion acquisition of Israel’s Mellanox Technologies.

The move was hailed as historic and unprecedented by Eyal Waldman, co-founder of Mellanox, the Israeli firm acquired by Nvidia for $7B.

The acquisition was first announced in March 2019 pending regulatory approval.
