An Israeli startup that uses AI to guide online shoppers to finding their perfect clothing size is helping a Spanish fashion brand sell more of its apparel and gain more of a profit.
MySize helps customers discover their true size by having them record their body measurements with their smartphone. The AI, which is integrated into the online stores of retailers, tells customers what size their body measurements correspond to for every garment.
La Garrocha, known for its equestrian-themed clothing, has used MySize’s sizing tool Naiz Fit for the last two years, and found that customers who used it were 127 percent more likely to complete a purchase than those who did not.
During the same time period, customers using Naiz Fit have generated $654,000 in purchases. Most of La Garrocha’s sales occur online, and the company says that MySize’s tool has helped its bottom line.
