October 2, 2017 | Israeli-based agricultural tech startup Phytech has raised $11 million in a funding round led by Tencent Holdings. Swiss seed and pesticide developer Syngenta and other investors also participated in the round. Phytech develops sensors and other applications that monitor irrigation levels and plants, offering recommendations through a mobile app to help farmers manage crops and increase profits.
