June 3, 2015 | Teva Pharmaceutical Industries announced that it will invest tens of millions of dollars in the American telemedicine company American Well, according to a “Globes” report. This will be Teva’s first investment in a health services startup as the company shows willingness to enter the digital medicine sector. American Well was founded by Drs. Ido and Roy Schoenberg with the goal to improve patient-doctor relations with immediate video calls.
